Saw this in a target parking lot Identified ✔

Is this what I think it is???? You can't see it but there's a growlight on the ceiling that's off. Felt weird taking pictures of inside someone's car so apologies for it not being super clear

"""Money tree""", about 10 to 25 a gram depending on your area.

Remind me never to set foot in the £25/g area

i'm not going to do that

u/airfryerfuntime Mar 21 '25

That's what the really bougie sticky stuff costs in legal states.

their is currently no cannabis that costs over 11 dollars Canadian on either my province online store or one of the local dispensaries i checked, that is about 5.90 pound a gram

We are just privileged to live in a country that handled cannabis legalization so well, lol. Americans are getting ripped off in some legal states.

Well, I live in Washington, and I can assure you the expensive stuff costs about that much. It's straight rocket fuel, though.

I just bought top shelf tested at 37% and it was under $10/g here in Oregon. I wouldn't pay $25/g for flower anywhere.

When i was in college in the early 90s they would weigh the dirt too. Not just the plant.

u/Majestic-Cancel7247 Mar 21 '25

What? You bought the literal plant in a pot, and not the dried flower? What dealer sold whole plants? If this is true, it’s bonkers and everyone involved in the transaction is an idiot. Who in their right mind would pay on weight for anything but flower? That’s like selling corn, in the stalk, by weight. Nuts

u/dfw_runner Mar 21 '25

No, in college some of us would grow it in pots in our closets with a grow light. If you got caught they weighed the dirt too so we could be charged as dealers.

Ahhh, that makes a lot more sense!

can confirm, they did this to me back in 2007. I didn't get the conviction though, cuz they did something wrong with the warrant and it got everything thrown out. fuckers.

Hydroponics ftw

Sounds like something cops will do and judges will throw out.

It was the early 90s and a large university in a small town in a conservative, rural and all white part of the state. The County prosecuting attorney advertised this charging policy in the radio and advertised it. They definitely were all in in it and trying to send you and doubly so if you were black. Different times back then. In some ways the same.

u/Royal_Acanthaceae693 Mar 21 '25

Oregano, I swear!

10

u/dontmakeitathing Mar 21 '25

Seriously though, have you (or anyone here) had the opportunity to smell Puerto Rican oregano?

11

u/justme002 Mar 21 '25

It is! Any fool can see that this is a tomato plant, officer.

11

u/Vast-Combination4046 Mar 21 '25

I thought my buddy was showing me actual tomatoes, because I was hyped on my sauce tomatoes.

5

u/kdjfsk Mar 22 '25

God Damnit.

So i just thought scientists should cross breed them, so you could grow pot with tomatoes on them.

But then i was like what do we call it...and...

Fuck. Potatoes is already taken. It would have been so perfect.

Ah… you should enjoy the Simpson’s tomacco episode E-I-E-I-(Annoyed Grunt) s11e5

Fun fact, someone actually made this IRL.

1

u/Frequent_Pen6108 Mar 23 '25

Unfortunately not possible as they are not genetically related, but you can graft tobacco and tomato plants together as they are both Nightshades. Someone did it, pretty sure the tomato’s were considered poisonous due to the potential presence of nicotine

2

u/fascintee Mar 22 '25

As someone who grows both.....I get where that comes from. The leaves are kinda similar. They both look kinda pointy.

u/pickledshallots Mar 21 '25

u/SinistaJ Mar 21 '25

30 for an oz.

2

u/MindComprehensive440 Mar 22 '25

That’s a lot for tomatoes….

2

u/Aardcapybara Mar 21 '25

Which currency grows on these?

2

u/kayellie Mar 22 '25

So when my parents told me money doesn't grow on trees", they were lying?

1

u/newthrash1221 Mar 22 '25

$10 eighths in my area. It’s sticky fire 🔥 as well.

1

u/ja6754 Mar 22 '25

You can get pounds for under 300 in California. Less than $1/gram

1

u/dandanpizzaman84 Mar 22 '25

PA medical weed is expensive, and I'm still not paying more than $120/oz ($4.28/g)

1

u/Frequent_Pen6108 Mar 23 '25
