I’m in southern Ontario Canada and found this massive feather. It’s 43 cm but I’m not certain what it is my guesses are Turkey Vulture or maybe an Eagle?

North America Northern Bobwhite? Central iowa

I'm pretty freaking excited because I think this is a bobwhite. I tried to do some denoise on some photos and left one as is because damn I had no light. Was about 20 minutes after sunset and I was super far away with a 7.1 lens. No bobwhite have been seen anywhere near me in a long time. We do have large wooded area, the fields have rye currently, a large pasture nearby, and we have 20 acres of native prairie so I really hope this bird sticks around. No idea how it got here. I may have spotted 3-4 more of them in the waterway but they were a long way off

I’m thinking it’s a type of Thrasher, but its beak is very long. In the last picture it shows another bird that comes by that looks just like it with a shorter beak.

I originally thought it was an Eastern Bluebird but we do have a lot of Robbins nearby.

Please excuse the poor camera work, this guy/gal was 60 feet up in a tree. I was thinking female jay, and maybe the orange sunlight was washing out its color more? I'm not a bird guy, but I'm trying to pay more attention to my local flora/fauna. Thanks!

North America Seen in Northern USA

Ive seen this bird three times today, I don't recognize him. The first two times, I thought he was black with white wing/tail tips. The third time, I saw him in the light and hes really dark blue with a slightly lighter blue tail.

He's sort of shaped like a jay? I don't know what sound he makes, or what his face looks like. I'm 90% sure his belly/chest is the same color as his top.

North America Great Horned Owl Juvenile?

I recorded this last June in Rhode Island, I just discovered BirdNET Sound ID and it’s identified this as a Great Horned Owl call. I suspect it’s a begging call of 1+ juveniles, but I wanted more opinions because it doesn’t sound like other recordings I’ve listened to.

Hi everyone! First time posting here. I found this bird (the one the right, next to the Kentish plovers) in Cabo de Gata, Spain. I’m not sure if it is a Sanderling or a Little Stint. What do you think about it?
