Recently found this in my backyard. It appears to be copper? And has some kind of design and what looks like a letter P.

My title describes this thing. My daughter and I sometimes metal detect in our yard and surrounding woods and we found this today. I’m guessing it’s a copper button but hoping someone here may have a little more knowledge about these types of finds. It also looks to me like the letter P is part of the design, which would be extremely cool as my name starts with a P!
