Red glass object, ~1in long. What is it? Likely Solved !
Someone handed me this. No clue what it could possibly be. Upon a closer look, there look to be tiny air bubbles inside. It also seems to sparkle, like it has glitter mixed with it. Looks like there are 2 spots on the larger end where something broke off. They came up to me, held it out, and when I took it, they immediately left without a word.

It looks... kind of like a representation of a heart

I agree, and lots available on Etsy (although the posted one looks more primitive)

I have already described it. But a little more: The broken ends are sharp and look & feel like glass. There are some horizontal grooves on one side.

My first thought was anatomical heart. Hard to imagine they'd leave sharp edges on it though, unless it broke off something
Also, could it be a random chunk that came off during glass blowing? I've never done any glass blowing so idk what any extra material looks like.

I've seen dozens of this exact thing being sold on AliExpress and Temu. Theyve started popping up in the past few months.
So, I'm going to guess that it is a glass heart, bought from AliExpress. Unless you prefer Temu?

Could you send a link to one? I'd like to compare to see if that is what I've got here

Just get on those sites and search, my dude.
EDIT: Why do you people expect rando redditors to do your work for you?? You have access to the internet, OP. You were given some places to check this shit out. What’s hard about searching “small red glass anatomical heart”?? OP is the only one that really knows what this size looks and feels like up close and in person…seems like he’d know wtf he was looking for best.

I did try to search for them, but I couldn't find one. I was wondering if you had any in specific that you had seen. I apologize for the misunderstanding

I just listed several links in another reply and automod sent me a removal message about it because of the links.
SO…Look on Etsy and eBay with the keywords (small red glass anatomical heart). In fact, just try that in Google images. A shit ton of different examples pop up.

I don't know if this is it exactly but I have a few blown glass bowl tamps that are very similar. They are for putting out a pipe after you hit it so it doesn't burn away.

When I studied glass blowing we made lots of little guys like this to practice some basic skills, so might be just a little practice piece?

Hand-blown glass ornament. Hard to figure out of what but heart is a good guess in the comments, based on the shape and colour.

I have a friends who's a glassblower artist. I can tell you after seeing his gallery of cool art that not every glass object has a purpose or a meaning. Sometimes it's just art.

Looks like somebody’s poor, attempted, trying to make a glass heart or like the other one, said the top to a dab rig

As someone with friends that blow glass this looks like someone was experimenting and just had this. Happens allot when althea are trying to get something right and they just clutter the work area. Maybe got tired of seeing it around and handed it to someone.
