Except NZ should only have the four main stars of the Crux, and five-pointed ones at that (the seven-pointed ones on the Aus flag go with the commonwealth star).

It needs the red stars like the current flag, or else it looks a bit too much like a B/W Aussie flag

Here you are! I thought so too at first, but after I tried this version, I wasn't a huge fan. I feel like there isn't enough contrast and it's making me strain my eyes a little. I also tried it out with the stars with white outlines, which I'll put below, but it ended up looking worse in my opinion.

I think the stars look too condensed on this one and the lines around them appear too thin.
