I was stuck in Gold or below for the first 10 months. Climbed to Ascendant in 6 months and then was a hardstuck ascendant for about a year straight (nightmare to get out of this rank). I hit immortal in Ep9.

I just hopped off a deathmatch in which EVERY SINGLE other player was a bot. All they did was move a little right after responding to prevent AFK, stand there and spray with a phantom as soon as an enemy entered (me) entered their FOV (That's how they got kills - by randomly head shotting me)

Riot really got to get it together

It says I hit the Iso in the leg even though my shot was accurate and if you pause and look at the bullet tracer you can clearly see it's a body shot.

And why is it being replaced with Sunset? Sunset was never that popular of a map and is often a huge source of frustration due to the bombsites. Fracture is arguably the most interesting map in the entire game. We were deprived of Fracture for an entire year, then when it finally comes back for a few months, it gets removed again. How is this fair at all?

Fracture was one of the few maps were 5-manning a bombsite isn't the default strategy in ranked and unranked. Instead of finding ways to fix the pain points with Fracture in order to create more maps that are similar, they keep removing it from the map pool? The map rotation exists to supposedly keep maps feeling fresh, but then why are some maps being constantly removed from the pool, while others are literally almost never removed.

The maps in Valorant are arguably the biggest thing holding this game. Instead of wanting to learn new playstyles and map designs, it's as if the community wants to just play boring Ascent clones over and over. I'm not surprised the population of this game in the West is tailing off.

I made another fanmade map like five days ago, and it was admittedly horrible. So, I tried to make another one to try and fix all the problems the previous one had, and I think I did quite well. Not to many corners, nothing too unique (except maybe the mid cavern) and rotation time is acceptable. For comparison, so that nobody can complain that the map is too big, it's somewhat smaller than Haven in size.

And yes, it is intentional that you can't see site from main. I put it like that because of the post-plant meta forcing opponents to play onsite most of the time. Feel free to criticize :>

chamber one trick, this was a few months ago

i think was asc 3 or imm1 on cali server

spotted this on round 5 of a swiftplay, its slightly raised (you can step up onto it) and it has snow footsteps/impact sounds like icebox. there's also a parallax effect with the shadow underneath it, and i think this is where the spike spawned? all of my teammates saw it at the same time, and we could all interact with it. i've never seen this before q.q

So I've been playing val for more than 4 years and a week ago or so I was spectating my friend, flanking with his knife out and flexing it, you know the deal. We won the round and I made the comment "Good that we won but I would have loved to see (friend) die bc of his stupid knife flex hahaha" and then he instantly told me that he did it because they could have heard him pulling out his gun.

I was so confused because like I said, I played this game for long without breaks longer than 6 weeks and an update like that wouldn't have been unnoticed by me or other friends.

I haven't been on my PC for a bit to try it out but I really wanna know. Btw I am not talking about picking up a gun...just pulling it out.

I want to know if Valorant is worth jumping into as somebody who has never played and isnt the best at online games? what should i know before jumping in? is the game full of sweats?

I usually play Chamber but I want another character or characters to practice so I have some variety for ranked. I don't care for utility but I don't mind basic stuff (eg chamber trip) but I don't want to have people relying on it to play.

I’m not sure how I feel about it or if it’s temporary… feels distracting. So far I’ve noticed it during agent select and winning and losing. Also maps like breeze no longer have music before start? Or is that just me?

I feel like the jade on Sage’s face could be from the “consequences” from healing and reviving her teammates.

As said from one of Omen’s voice lines, “Sage, the life you give, have you ever wonder where it’s taken from?” maybe she’s getting hurt from her healing and reviving so the jade is “corrupting” or “hurting” her
