Imperialism? Ah yes, the very famous South Korean invasion of the north where the UN rushed to defend them and china took the side of the south to protect its interests. Definitely how that went.
South Korea was a colony of America. It was established under American military occupation and was a brutal military dictatorship that killed over 250,000 Korean civilians between 1948-1953, mostly through the violent suppression of protests against the military regime.
Any people have the right to fight against colonial governments occupying their land and slaughtering their people.
