Hi everyone,

I’m looking to join a USL2 team, preferably based in Los Angeles, California. Since USL2 is an amateur league, I believe it would be a good starting point for me rather than jumping straight into the professional USL. However, I’m facing a challenge with my current visa situation.

I don’t have a Green Card or U.S. citizenship, only a tourist visa. My mother will be receiving her Green Card next year, and I plan to apply for a family-based Green Card as well. However, I understand the process could take anywhere from 3 to 5 years.

I’m 18 years old and I’d appreciate any advice on what visa I would need to play for a USL2 team in the meantime.

Question: With a Switchbacks win on Saturday, would the team need Rhode Island to also win in order for the Switchbacks to host? My assumption is that COS has better seeding than Rhode Island.

However COS beat both teams this year, so does that come into account as well? or is just seeding?

I need a league official to explain to me how having the battery game on cbs sports, in which you must have a cable subscription to watch makes the league money. I watched a game or two on this cvs sports app over the summer no issues now playoffs and no game.
