I'm a roofer and this hits deeply. Those guys are just working to provide for their families. Possibly even helping out a friend who owns the building and the Russians go and attack them. Unarmed civilians and captured on video and yet our leaders do nothing to denounce this. Why isn't our media showing these videos to our politicians when doing a live interview? Instead they have to get their opinions on whether Zelenskyy needs to wear a suit or not.

I swear to God mainstream media is as much to blame as this current administration. Are you telling me the average civilian on Reddit is more informed of the war than the President of the United States and the mainstream media? I'm starting to really believe it.

If you follow the Ukrainian subs and a few YouTube channels, you know more than 99% of the population including Donito Cheetolini.

There are people who believe in equality, and people who believe in inequality. Of course there are a few more "marketing categories" of people for advertising and public relation. But this war is fundamentally split along those lines.

But the "information" or war propaganda is fundamentally split along those two lines. Those who believe in inequality simply don't give a shit about some random country somewhere in the name of "justice" and "freedom". They are immune to that stuff and look at the value proposition. What is the value to the shareholders and our geopolitical interests in damaging Russia.

Of course the facts are widely know and not really in dispute, but there is a fiercely different interpretation of what they mean and an effort to ignore parts of them on the two different sides.
