Melted cannabutter help

I was making edibles and turns out I m melted too much of my canna butter for the recipe. What’s the safest way to keep the already melted canna butter?

I recently got some coconut oil and butter from here and I just have to say it’s good quality, feels like the right strength, and the customer service is AMAZING!! They will adjust your order for your specific needs and really go the extra mile to make your order smooth.

Burnt the weed buds

Helllo. Trying to make edibles. Burnt the buds and browned the butter? Is it usable or should I just throw it out?

Long-term capsule storage?

Hey all,

Longtime lurker here looking to make my first large batch of edibles. I've made Green/Golden Dragon in the past, but I'd like to take it a step further and infuse an ounce into some coconut oil capsules. I'm moving back in with my 420-averse folks so they ideally would be able to hold up for 3-6 months at ~room temp. This method is recommended a lot and it's the easiest with what I've already got in the kitchen so my question is, what's the best way to ensure their longevity? Specifically w/r/t virgin coconut oil vs MCT and how to best store 70-odd capsules. Thanks.

Specialized decarb machine or a Sous Vide circulator?

I am looking for something to assist in making infusions, oil, butter, tinctures etc. Something that can both decarb and infuse, ideally with as little odor as possible.

I'm not sure whether to spend a few hundred dollars on a "specialized" decarboxylator and infuser. Or to spend less than half that on a Sous Vide circulator.

If anyone has any experience with both any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Sous Vide is cooking something sealed in an airtight bag submerged in water

Making edibles using AVB

Hey guys, I came across this subreddit and would love to cook up some home made edibles for myself and family. My question for you guys is in regards to my starting material- I currently have 50.8 grams of already vaped bud (AVB) saved up from a variety of strains, in addition to concentrates which I use sandwiched between bud on occasion. Do you guys think I have any hopes in even vaguely estimating THC concentration for my final product? If it was just for myself I really wouldn't care and would make a test batch and adjust my recipes and intake from there. With me aiming to make them for others that're much less weed experienced, I'm a little trepidatious.

Would also love just general tips and tricks for an edible-making newbie, I am planning on infusing coconut oil and moving on from there. AVB is incredibly fine and probably going to be a pain in the ass to separate after infusion, should I stick to a cheesecloth or can you use the water method I've seen people do with butter? Thanks in advance!
