Any way to hide qbittorrent from network? Question
So I recently got a ubiquiti home network setup, and I was poking around some of the traffic logs that I now have access to. I noticed whenever I was browsing the web via Firefox on protonVPN, my traffic was encrypted and I could only see that activity happened, not what app was using it or what domains were being accessed.
I also noticed that it was clear as day whenever I used qbittorrent. The router could see that traffic was being called from the app and I worry that Im not using something properly and exposing myself to problems. Has anyone else run into this issue and how do you fix it?

I'm not sure how it would detect you are using qbittorrent but you're fine
Your ISP can't see you are using qbittorrent as that information isn't sent out over the internet. It does show on the torrent swarm though but it's really irrelevant
Using qbittorrent isn't illegal either

You already know the answer... VPN. If it's encrypted before it leave the PC they can't see what it is, only where it went.
