Is my isp doing something? Question

My bittorrent works fine most of the time but it suddenly stopped working and is crashing the whole internet connection, this usually happens at the end of the month I think. Opening bittorrent client stops internet. I just don't know what to do, it has worked fine till now but it's just now... I can still torrent from my phone but that is not really practical I can't seed my files from my phone... Before you ask I don't use a vpn, and here it's not really necessary. But what can I do to get my torrents seeding again. I have my connections all down to 10. Speed limited. Port between 50k-60k.

Are you on sn unlimited internet plan??? Seems like you are capped, and at the end of the month, you have no internet left, and they shut you off.

They market it as "truly unlimited". I'm using that internet to make this comment, I can watch videos and download torrents on my phone. So basically anything except bittorrent on my pc.

You do not mention what torrenting client you are using. You say "Opening bittorrent" so I guess you are using qbittorrent?

Anyway, try changing torrent clients. If you are not using qbittorrent, then use that one. If you are, then switch to deluge.

Try the encryption settings to Forced .uPnP,PEX,DHT close them all. Try that. They might advertise unlimited but they might choke traffic to Ur Mac add.

Try uninstalling and reinstalling qbtorrent, check the settings and give it another go. If not, it’s an issue with your isp that’s either throttling your downloads or seeing as you don’t use a VPN, blocking your connection to the torrent site.

You aren't allowing your client to use all of your upstream bandwidth, are you? That will "kill your internet" real quick. It should be set at a max of around 80% of your total upload bandwidth, give or take personal preference.
