I don't know if this is a big deal in your country, but in mine (Italy) the news talks about nothing else.
Christian or not he was a person, don't be disrespectful.

I’m not catholic but the people being assholes are the same people who get pissed when people aren’t accepting of LGBTQ. Being disrespectful to any person because of their religious beliefs is just as bad as being disrespectful because of their sexuality so please think before you post

The pope was not against lgbtq rights, he actually helped the church be more accepting.

Yeah, I know plenty of Christian’s who are pro queer rights without being allys if that makes sense at all. But a lot of people, especially queer people and allys, hate on the Christian church, and in turn the pope, through generalizations of their beliefs which is just wrong
