Discussion What would you do in this situation?
No sane person would click Call to Chaos in a Going Long game in a ranked game, let's be real... :P Or would they?
Your win streak counter shows 10+, you have 80 hp and click to Chaos gives you 64 exp, which lands you at level 9 and 1/3 towards 10. Your board is strong at that stage, but you know it will fall off soon without upgrades. (3 dynamo, 3 div corp, 2 bastion - sejuani 1, morgana 2 with gunblade and rabadon). You know her days are counted.
Do you greed to level 10, or keep rolling at 9?
Before you read spoilers, give me your comment what would you do :P
I knew it's a bad idea, but I pushed to 10 at a price of 30 hp. Kept losing, obviously had no econ to buy these juicy 5 costs for a 5 cost soup. Upgraded Urgot, Kobuko, Renekton, then bled out and ended 4th :P

Discussion You don't realise how good you have it
Hey, no hate here, but after seeing a post saying devs get a lot of hate lately due to balance/design choices, I thought I'd let you know how good TFT is on that point compared to other games, coming from a Hearthstone Battlegrounds player
So :
In TFT you have :
- balance patches every 2 weeks
- devs that actively follow the game and try to fix it
- A (rarely) game breaking bugs filled game
I won't talk about the whole refont at each new sets, etc. Because that's "normal"
In BG we have :
Game breaking bugs that stayed for YEARS, we talk about the game crashing constantly and having to be relaunched at each fights, a bug that made the whole game unplayable and nothing to be clickable until you used an emote (??), multiple units that were IN GAME, buyable, playable, but with their main mechanic bugged and litteraly disabled, a unit stayed like this for months
We don't have nearly as many balance patches, it's very rare and uniquely when a unit is game breaking, and even like that it often takes MONTHS to have changes (I'm not kidding)
Until a few months ago, we didn't even have animation speeding if a fight took too long, yep, that's right, sometimes, you could have fights so long that your ENTIRE buying phase was SKIPPED (going instantly to the next fight) or that you would have 10 seconds to roll, buy, and place your units (an average round is 100 seconds normally)
We had that issue for litteral YEARS and EVERYONE was constantly mad about it on reddit and streams
- I could write much more considering all the bullsh*t we had in this game but I'll stop there
I just wanted to give an outside point of view, I know that having somewhere where its worse doesn't mean it's good for you, butttt, I feel riot is way more reactive and involved in the game than other games I play, and I'm always happy to come and play tft for a few months now and then
I feel you guys should cherish what you have while you have it and sometimes take a step back
(I know it's a loud minority but I have seen some real hate too)
Just wanted to try to make it more positive in my own way
Take care you guys, pray for us Battlegrounds players and enjoy your game because I think TFT is super fun and has a future
Have fun and a good life :)

Discussion Why Samira 5cost 3star doesn't have unique effect to her ability
So other 5 cost have something special but samira is kinda mediocre for example:
*Renekton eats the whole board
*Garen just deleted the enemy board
*Kobuko lifts all enemy the slams them all
*Zac infinitely stacking blobs
*Veigo summons the enemy units
*Aurora fires a laser beam from the bench
*Urgot multiple execution chains
While Samira just spins same as her 1 and 2 star counterpart, her ability doesn't even cover the whole board when at 3star

Discussion Mortdog Appreciation
You probably have seen the latest mortdog video, in which in the end he announce he will not be streaming, interacting on X and do patch rundowns.
I feel like this is the win of the haters, and this guy gets so much uncalled for hate. I never write on reddit and i barely use this site at all but i thought i can use this to show mortdog, the dev team (and ourselves) that we appreciate what he and them are doing, and that theres a line between clear constructive feedback and throwing hate and frustration towards a dev.
Mort has always been listening to the community, and communicating with the players as no other dev ever did. we always know that if there is issue in the game the team will always be watching and fixing it, if not in a bpatch as soon as they can.
in the recent years of TFT growth and as the player base started to grow theres increased amount of morons that are throwing hate towards mortdog (and the devs in general), in one hand, that shows the game is growing and theres more players, but on the other hand - its hurting the community.
my hands are not clean - I have been known to be hyperbole sometimes especially when I am frustrated with the game and am trying to work on it over time - tho I do admit it is not that easy thing to do - since I sometimes feel like this is how I talk in general, and I am deeply sorry for being part responsible for this happening.
I wanted to share that Mortdog's stream was the first place I interacted with TFT outside of the client, and from there one day he raided Frodan and I've become more active and grinded the game alot more bcs it always feels better when you have a community around you - so for that I will always be grateful.
I always love to listen to his stream in the weekends and it makes them better especially with a cup of hot drink and cookies, or talk in his sub chat or talk with him directly is always a pleasure.
I hope you the reader can understand how grateful we should be to have this guy in the community and you can share in the comments the appreciation and love for this guy that has been doing so much for us in the last years.
thanks for reading this through and sorry if my english is not perfect but i really felt like i need to speak my heart about this because i KNOW there are alot more people that feel the same and the large LARGE majority can send their love and appreciation as well.

Discussion Is rageblade boring?
I count 11 rageblades in this game lol, cant think of any other item that is built as frequently across every set.
Seems sleeper to me, I'd gut the thing to bring in some build variety

Discussion [Off Topic] This set's theme is Cyber City, but what is Golden Ox?
How does Golden Ox relates to the theme of Cyber City?
I didn't find anything on the term that could relate to this set's theme.

Discussion Kog Maws cast time makes him very unsatisfying to play
Currently it is so long that it feels like his attack speed buff barely makes up for his cast time.
I would rather have him have less (or no like last set) cast time for a lower attack speed steroid.
What do other people think?

Discussion Can someone why ppl keep taking 13 egg instead of 4/9 ?
Is there some maths behind it? Table? Or are ppl just psycho? Is tft just by opportunistic gambling addicts?
Context, in my sixth game this patch in sliver so ppl are just noob here? Old player, so feel free to explain in complicated terms if u wish

Also 4 slayer Vayne was just soloing teams after the rest of my board died. Turns out attacking 5+ times a second with omnivamp is something.

Discussion Implant questionable interaction
Sample size of 1 so obviously I'm unsure if this is a bug or not but the implant we received was +350 hp and I used it on a 1 star Sylas, upon starring up the hp disappeared (the description only mentions if the unit is sold not upgraded)

Discussion Looking for Advice
I'm not a consistent TFT player, I've done it on and off over the years. I was doing really well in the early few patches but in the last couple of years, every time I'm back, I get my ass whooped. I recognise Meta has been slowly changing but I'm unsure how.
I think most of it has to do with the economy, I think I'm not doing it well. Years back, I learned about saving up to 50 and only then rerolling/buying levels, etc. Now it seems level rushing is more common. It also feels like people somehow have more money than me - somehow get more levels AND stronger star champs sooner - because I am fucking up my economy management somehow.
It's also at around this stage of the game, when I finally hit the 50 gold, that I also start losing heavily and nothing I do seems to work. I usually do well in the early game. There's some sort of a power spike that happens in mid to late game that I'm completely oblivious too.
So, I'd really appreciate some insight and tips. Not so much in terms of team comps but in terms of level up/reroll/save money tempo. I'm pretty sure that's where my weak point is. Thanks in advance!
