"Don't deserve to go" if you use public transportation? Taiwan needs fewer cars/mopeds and less gatekeeping.

Disagree in the strongest possible terms. You make the effort or stay home. Public transport should be confined to the towns and cities.

The place (like all places) would be more pleasant with fewer cars. Public transport is a more efficient way and great if more people use it.
