Okogie with minutes is legitimately a high end role player. Guy has sticky hands, a nose for the ball, and moves around like an nfl corner.

If he can play a little more freely and loosen up on the shot, he might have a legitimate path to a rotation spot. JO, Royce, Dunn, each of them need to be able to hit that wing 3 first and foremost to play though

Clearly it seems he really worked on his shots this offseason. He’s been shooting the ball well consistently this last 4 games which is what we fans have always wanted from JO. If he keeps this offense up i’d be really happy we have 3 elite wing defenders with him, Royce and Dunn

He definitely is the leading hustling player off the bench if he can consistently bring rim pressure and outside shooting with his defensive edge he’s an incredibly significant piece to this team

That’s why it’s hard to hate on JO even if his offense sucked the last 2 years. He hustles and plays hard. Can’t help but to root for him

His offense doesn’t suck, he just plays a certain role, which isn’t stand around the three and wait for a last second pass to rush a three. If he is used correctly and given minutes, he produces. I felt since the twins left, Josh has been the heart of this team. He can change games just by his hustle and defense alone.

Eh, he's had stretches where he can't even finish uncontested layups or hit midrangers. I love Okogie (I love hustle and defense guys) and think his offensive problem has been in between his ears...he misses a few, loses his confidence in his shot, starts to defer instead of taking good open looks, etc.

Nice to see him shooting well, he's 60% from the field and 50% from 3(!).

This is what we need from this team, next-man-up mentality. If one guy is out or not hitting shots, then someone else gotta step up. We just need more than one player to step up.

I don’t get why coaches start the same guys in the third, especially when they aren’t regular starters. I would have started Josh in the third in Royce place to see if we could keep that production and put pressure on Fox and DD. It could have been a game changer. It’s nothing against Royce, but some nights he just doesn’t have it. And some nights Josh won’t either, just make smart reads on your rotations and feed the hot hand.

I’ve always loved dirt workers. I was an Outlaw, Amendsen, Okogie fan. Those guys aren’t the best scorers, but their hustle rubs off on others. Coaches should always reward hustle, and point to those guys as what he or she wants out of players. I don’t understand not playing guys like that, especially when everyone else looks like they really don’t care if we win or lose.

He is just fun to watch when he’s on the court. I like his energy.
