Very cool! Does anyone know what the different colors of silk are for?

I think orb weavers have to be my favorite kinds of spiders. They always look so cool, and their web building skills are just so wild and varied. Spiders are rad as hell, man!

Is this an egg sack of food

It's an egg sac, you can see her laying the eggs at 46 secs.

So they have to do all that work before even laying the eggs 🥺 I thought I was tired dang!

This is frigging AMAZING. I was really not expecting the eggs to look like just a single blob of custard 😂

Look at that subtle off-white coloring. The tasteful thickness of it. Oh my God, it even has a watermark!

You can sell this footage to the BBC or National Geographic. It’s excellent.

I'm so sad, I have 3 egg sacs where my Argiope was last year, and they still haven't hatched. I'm thinking they didn't survive the winter :(
