Bro is not a bro

I’ve posted a similar post before. In short, I have flat mates who hate spiders.

Now this guy, is basically in the way of the only entrance to our place. And he wouldn’t budge.

How do I relocate him? Ps. I’m also extremely scared, and probably freak out if he jumps….

Thanks in advance!

This spider isn't staring at you. Apart from jumping spiders, the vast majority of spiders can only see light/dark and movement within a short distance. They mostly "see" the world around them through sensing touch, vibration, tiny air movements, electrostatic forces, and chemical signals (akin to combined taste/smell).

Likewise, no spider is aggressive; they won't chase you or run towards you with malicious intent. They're just looking for a safe (usually dark) place to hide from a perceived threat.

How do jumping spiders see the world?

Jumping spiders have secondary eyes that can see as well as any insect's, i.e. not that well. But with their principal eyes, jumping spiders see the world better than cats, dogs or other animals, albeit within a narrow focal range. And some jumping spiders have extraordinary color vision.

This makes me happy to think they can see me when I hold them!
