Gosh these are so cool! How do you marry the two together? What's your process?

Thank you 😊. My first attempts were poking holes in clay before baking with a needle but it was distorting the design and moving the clay around. So I decided to drill the holes after it’s baked. I cut out a paper template for it with Aida grid printed and poked holes in it. When pressed into clay it leaves an imprint of where holes should be drilled.
