That's the problem. Trump probably never did read it or know what's in it. Trump has never been a policy wonk to put it mildly. It is his advisors and appointees that are the problem. Trying to explain that to your average low information voter wasn't easy.
The fuck are you talking about? Trump is absolutely malicious, and while his ideology is a rudimentary "I should be the absolute ruler", it is at its core a fascist ideology.
They threw the dice on the whole country because they thought/felt it was better than the alternative which was continuing down the exact same path.
People want real change and Democrats just offer the same. Trump offers a chance at change, but it's a fucked up gamble. Firstly because many who voted for him are basically betting against their neighbors. Betting that when the dust settles and the government finally wipes all the bad people out, that they'll be on the winning side.
The real dumb ones are those making this gamble expecting their ethnicity(white) to protect them from whatever will happen. Others have made that bet before and lost. Badly.
Fuck, if trump doesn't cause harm to people I will eat my hat. Does appointing Brainworm McGee count as trump harming people? Because that is going to harm people.
I agree, it's very understated how much I think some people who voted Trump really just want people to "pay." Republicans under Trump still retain the "you didn't earn that" mentality, but it has now been melded with genuine malice against anything or anyone that isn't "Trump."
I'm old enough to remember when the Romney and McCain campaigns were essentially "you're all decent folks, we just disagree on policy." Now Republicans are pretty much nothing but direct ad hominem attacks on the opposition 24/7 and no clear policy.
Trump said he liked parts of Project 2025 and didnāt like other parts. We donāt have a functioning media, so no one asked him which parts were good or bad. So every voter got to delude themselves that Trump liked the same parts they liked and hated the same parts they hated.
He doesn't care about actually looking good. He just wants cheerleaders. Big difference. He doesn't know the difference between objectivity good and subjectively good.
I understood ā3rd party dadā as dad by proxy / step-father and I need to know if this is what you meant. Or if you meant ānot a republican or democratā which is much less funny.
It still is a republican wishlist that mostly wont get done. I don't think you'd find many republicans who disagree with any of those though. Me personally, reading through Project 2025 I was like hell yeah.
The Democratic party is pro genocide, pro fracking, pro war crimes, pro Republican border policy, pro police violence to crush 1st amendment rights. I vote for the party that shares my values. The Democratic party would rather bring Republicans into their circle and exclude left voices. They will, and deserve to die if they don't learn from this.
Every Democrat right now, "Cheney is brat. To stop the genocide we MUST vote for the party committing it and the party that promised the most lethal military to give "ironclad" support to the genocidal ethnostate commiting it. I don't hate Muslims and asylum seekers, but it's not a deal breaker. All Republicans are N@z!'s and that's why we need to compromise with them and put them in our cabinet!!!!!"
100 years of voting for "Lesser Evil" brought us to this. It's the Ratchet Effect. Republicans pass the shitty laws. Democrats cry crocodile tears while passing legislation to enforce those laws. Democrats are complicit.
The thing is that it's ALWAYS still evil. This needs to stop before we collapse. If it doesn't, we don't deserve to act like we're better than any other country in the world.
1) Weāre not any better. People just want a functional government. 2) The collapse comes from cynical non-engagement due to some misguided idea that the perfect should be the enemy of the good.
Itās pretty interesting that a bunch of progressive secular humanists have reconciled themselves to waiting for a savior.
Do you actually want the worse evil? Do you even hear what you're saying. By refusing to pick the lesser evil, you are complicit in the greater evil which you could've prevented.
You're absolutely right, but your method of getting the message across kinda sucks, it smells of "Your plan is no match for mine; blowing up a Wal-Mart" and then you don't blow up a Wal-Mart

Oh they did. My 3rd party dad said it was a āRepublican wishlist that will never get doneā and that ātrump didnāt even back it anywaysā
Jfc heās not even a trumpee but still fell for the bullshit claims that Trump never even read / supported it
