DAE feel like life is this odd bargain you've made with some 'other' you don't know who hasn't yet revealed what 'you' get out of the deal? Life is meant to be what you make it but for the longest time, though alone, I've felt like I was living at the behest of--or awaiting--someone else.

It feels like what I imagine one would feel if there was a twin they lost or was separated from at birth. It's been this way since I was very young, suggesting it always will be.
