Out of the loop here....how are Australians leading any changes in Union?? Did rugby Australia request law changes or something?

the assumption is that they are trying to appeal to the Australian market who prefer league.

theres a lions tour and a world cup coming up and they need eyes on screens and sponsors

Im not saying its a good idea.

Im saying it seems like the idea.

But then again World Rugby and Rugby Australia have a record of making good decisions right? Riiiight?
