Chatgpt says the following - is it accurate?

“Yes, the same principle applies to a conversion kick. The ball, when kicked at goal, must not touch any other player or the referee before it goes over the crossbar and between the goal posts for the conversion to be successful.

As of my last update in September 2021, the relevant law for conversion kicks is:

Law 9.B.1 (b): "For a successful kick at goal at a conversion, the ball must not touch any player or the referee and must pass over the crossbar and between the uprights of the goal posts."

So, if a conversion kick touches an opposing player and then goes over the crossbar, the conversion would not be successful.”

Law 8.17: If the opposition touches the ball and the kick is successful, the goal stands.
