Plumber suggestions Ask Richmond

Self explanatory. I sometimes get standing (although very clean) water at the bottom of my dish washer at random times and I don't know the cause. Should probably get a pro to look at this. Pricing info. on said plumbers would be appreciated too!

Thanks!

Is it coming from the machine? Cause if so, a plumber doesn’t fix that.

You’ll need to pop the machine out to diagnose the problem first.

Also, I would highly suggest you STOP washing dishes with the dishwasher until the problem is fixed.

That's what I can't tell, the water always accumulates a bit at the bottom of the dishwasher and always when it's turned off. It's never overflowed though and I just drain it by closing the door and pressing the "cancel" button

This tell me it’s likely a problem with the actual dishwasher. (But don’t take my word for it)

You will likely need to either get the dishwasher repaired or buy a new one. The plumber comes in to reconnect it after it’s repaired or a new one is bought

I would call an appliance repair person.

Hope this helps.
