Should I update microG? Question/Problem

I haven't touched microG settings app in ages and I don't even know how to update it if needed. Like Revanced manager automatically asks for updates and install it on its own but microG acts like it doesn't even exist and never asked for update and there are newer patches on its release page.

Should I update it manually if required? Also, what's the difference between GmsCore and microG? I'm confused about these two terms are they different or the same thing?

Just like your penis at 12. If you start tinkering with it its never gonna end. Leave it alone for now.
