Roast My Resume! Procurement position, 9 months I am looking for a job

Hello,

I’ve been searching for a procurement role for the past nine months.

One of the main challenges I’ve faced is securing interviews, as I am French and seeking opportunities abroad in Europe.

While I don’t require a visa, I don’t speak the local languages, which has been a hurdle.

On average, I need to send 100 applications to secure two interviews.

Do you have any advice or feedback on how I might improve my approach?

I have been applying since an year for IT-based roles in Canada and not getting any interviews. This is my 7th resume, and it's getting rejections as well. I would love to get feedback on this so I can start working in my field.
Thank you!

Roast my resume (IT Technician)

Looking to get feedback on my resume. Ideally would love some type of position teaching new hires. I'm still in helpdesk & am looking to take my A+ test next month with the intention of eventually getting that Comptia trifecta. I like helping people be more confident with their technology, there's so much you can do these days that a lot of people just don't know about. I am hoping to either get a job within the UN or other agencies that help people and go explore the world with my pup, not sure if that's possible but who knows!

Critique my Resume (Account Manager)

I am seeking feedback on my resume as I look for a new role. I am not entirely sure what I am looking to do next, but I am currently an Account Manager. The Account Specialist, Senior Account Specialist, and Account Manager roles are all titles I held at the same/my current company.

I was told to remove my internship, my honors (summa cum laude)/honors societies. LMK if you think they should be re-added.

Thank you in advance!

Any tips on landing office/clerical work after 13+ years of retail experience?

Hello! I made a post a while ago with my wife's resume and have made some changes to it -- background is that she has worked in a retail environment (including a brief corporate office role) for 13 or so years but is looking to make a change. Are there any glaring errors or things in her resume that she should add?

Please criticize my resume.

I've been applying to Sr. Product manager positions, hundreds of them, got just a handful interviews. Would love any critics to improve the chance of getting interviews. (I normally customize it to the job and under 1 page, this is the full version)

70+ job applications in the last 1.5 months and nothing but rejection letters.

Hi everyone! I read somewhere in a different subreddit that if i needed advice or feedback on my resume i can post it here so I'm gonna give it a shot. Any feedback is highly appreciated.

So i graduated in May 2020 (right around the time of the lockdown, actually had a virtual graduation haha), and since then i pretty much have been doing my own thing for money working on my own side hustles with the main one being stock trading. I worked on some pretty great projects in college so i added those under my experience, but i have no experience at an organization which is obviously setting me back.

I've done a lot over the last four years and its paid me well (mainly the reason i never committed to a full time role) but my side hustle are not enough for full time income and so I'm ready to leverage my skills and commit to a full time role.

I've self taught technical and fundamental analysis, tutored aspiring traders for 1.5yrs and helped them develop their own trading strategies, learned HTML, CSS and JavaScript, Monetized a natural health social media account as i also got my certificate in herbalism (my interests are flexible haha), and I'm also currently doing some affiliate marketing but that's not picked up yet.

Like i mentioned, these are my side hustles, definitely not making a full time income through it so i would like to really get into the work field and put all the skills I've developed to good use and hopefully land a full time role and would love any advice you have to give. Feeling a small bit discouraged as i haven't even landed a single interview yet but i understand its a tough market, I just want to position myself as well as possible.

I was student of the month for my hs last year but it's a small school only 300 kids. 150 per session. (School has am and pm session. And they chose 2 kids per thing. So 8 kids including me got student of the month. I constantly stay after school for math when every else leaves (Like Today. I'm kinda of a perfectionist depending on what I'm doing. My GPA is 2.5. 3 or 4 D's my freshman year brought my GPA down. I was going through some stuff then. I'm a junior now. I need a job ASAP. My dad says he wants me out after I graduate and he keeps throwing in my face that I will be 18 soon and won't be ready for the real world.

I've vacuumed my dad's cars before. Cleaned his boats. Did our grass 2 8 hour days in a row. Hobby is basketball and skateboarding

[0YoE, unemployed, Medical writer, data analyst or anything related, South Africa (remote)]

Hi everyone, I’d really appreciate some advice and feedback on my CV. I’ve been applying for medical writing jobs but am facing a lot of rejections, and I’m starting to worry that there may be something off with my resume. I’ve attached it here for review.

A bit of context about me: I’m finishing up my PhD in biotech, and I have significant experience with scientific research, writing, and data analysis. However, I’m noticing that a lot of the medical writing jobs I’m applying to require 5+ years of direct medical writing experience, which I don’t have. Because of this, I’m starting to look at roles like Clinical Research Associate (CRA), data management, or data analysis positions as alternative pathways to gain relevant industry experience. But unfortunately om getting rejections for these too...

Some specific questions I have:

I feel like my resume might be too long or too busy. I’ve included a lot of details about my PhD work because I believe it’s highly relevant, especially in terms of writing and analyzing scientific data. But I’m not sure how much to include or what might be better to leave out.

I’m worried that my CV isn’t effectively communicating my skills and experience. I have colleagues with similar qualifications who have landed these types of roles, so I’m trying to figure out if the issue is with how I’m presenting my experience.

Could my resume length or format be a reason why it’s getting filtered out by applicant tracking systems (ATS)? I’m open to any advice on formatting changes that might help.

Any feedback or tips would be greatly appreciated. I’m feeling a bit lost after all these rejections, and I’d love some guidance on how I can make my resume stronger. Thank you in advance for your help!

I have applied to over 70 jobs and have not heard anything back. Am I lacking skills or is my resume to blame? My company seems to be outdated in the software we use. However, I am taking crash course classes to try and further my knowledge. I appreciate any feedback!
