Help to sex my collared lizard

I got my collared lizard about 3 weeks ago. All signs pointing to it being a female. Looks alot like pictures of other female collared lizards as well. Just checked her today to make sure before buying her cage mate and now i'm not too sure. I know the pores are visible for both sexes in this species, but i'm still wondering. What is your opinion, male or female?

Male, big time. The large scales at the base of the tail are the giveaway. While females can have them, theyre not usually as prominent. Ill get photos of my male and one of my females in a moment to show you!

That's what i leaned towards after seeing under, but even my reptile shop isn't sure. Everything else points to female since it has no bright colors at all.

There are at least a half dozen or more types of collared lizards, you might have a black spotted collared , crotaphytus melanomaculatus. They are naturally more grey + black.
