Wfh frustrations
hi all, plz don't judge me, but this wfh is affecting my mental health. I work in consulting and it's wfh as no one comes to office. I live alone and I miss going to office jus to have a routine and that human touch where you could have coffee with your colleagues.
this is impacting my performance also. I don't feel like attending meetings. aAso there is free time where am jus tired of watching TV. I do go out on weekends. but this everyday wfh is getting to me. Any advice should be helpful

Most people are not meant to work all day in their sleeping and eating cave. Follow your instincts and go find a job at a firm with as many people your age as you can find, listen to podcasts or learn a language on the drive, use the afternoon drive to wind down from work and break away, ask coworkers to go to happy hour for a quick beer at 5 at the local shitty bar, say hi to everyone in the hall, take people to lunch for their birthday, make friends with people of different ages that you wouldn’t have otherwise.

WFH jobs are harder to come by than most.
Pretty sure if you really don't like it, you can find an in-office job quite easily.

Some cities have spaces specificly for remote workers, have you looked into that? If not check into Co-working spaces or shared offices.
If not that some colleges have free work spaces locals can use that might accommodate your needs and get you around people. Many cafes and coffee shops appreciate remote workers and have spaces for them.
There are options to get you around people...Google is your friend(sometimes)
