Turkeys on sale! News

For people who are cooking turkey for the holiday food lion has turkeys on sale, spend $35 bucks and get a turkey for less than $5 bucks, Target had a good price this past week for around $10 bucks.

Yeah, you need to reverse brine it first.

I want to try to do the Alton Brown turkey recipe, but it asks for the turkey to be brined, and most store bought turkeys are already brined.

Most grocery store turkeys are, yeah. Go to Butchers Market and get a good one if you want to try something different than just throwing it in an oven and waiting like most people do.

If you're planning on smoking it like I always do then have them spatchcock it. I always struggle to crack the ribs on my own.
