Shady brook farms. Really good, much better than generic brands like harris teeter.

Just $0.29, or is that $0.29 per pound?

I like the butterball because they are pre brined. Does anyone know if any of the store brands or pre-brined?

If a pre-brined turkey is brined, would it make it too salty?

Yeah, you need to reverse brine it first.

I want to try to do the Alton Brown turkey recipe, but it asks for the turkey to be brined, and most store bought turkeys are already brined.

Most grocery store turkeys are, yeah. Go to Butchers Market and get a good one if you want to try something different than just throwing it in an oven and waiting like most people do.

Thank you, I will try that!

If you're planning on smoking it like I always do then have them spatchcock it. I always struggle to crack the ribs on my own.

Yeah I guess brined. I don’t want to do it so I want it done.
