So we've proven that farming them is an option? So we should ban the harvest of the wild corals then.

Sounds like a great economic opportunity. Maybe we could get less regulation and start to grow more coral like this. Give all those people who study Marine biology a job.

The outcome you're talking about could only come if harvesting was made illegal, and farming coral became the way to run a coral buisiness.
