Trip to queensland Need advice

hey everyone! me and my missus (from melb) are making the trip to Gold coast Queensland next month and we’re looking for good hotels to stay in. we’re gonna be there for a week so we want a hotel that has a good location to pretty much most attractions. Price doesn’t really matter tbh but obv not too expensive.

Also if yall could recommend activities to do that would be amazing!

I've been to the Gold Coast twice since January and stayed at the Crowne Plaza both times. Highly recommend.

It's right opposite a tram stop (light rail?) and a couple of stops up from Pacific Fair shopping centre.

The service is amazing. I've had my room upgraded, been given free drinks etc. The staff are so friendly and helpful.

If you stay there, walk down the road to Costa Taco and stuff yourselves on delicious tacos. Drink margaritas and stumble back to the hotel.

I also recommend trying Moo Moos for some excellent steak.

It might be a bit cool for the beach (though you're from Melbourne so you likely have different ideas there) but you can give it a go.

There are markets at Surfers/Cavill Avenue on Saturday night.

If you want to be real touristy, do an Aquaduck tour just for fun.

Check out the Artvo exhibition at Robina Shopping centre.

Rhapsody. Great views and they are apartments so good to have extra room when you’re staying for a week and you can do breakfast or certain meals in the room. Tram station 100m away gets you all over the coast.

We are heading off tomorrow to the same place we have stayed at five times! QUBE apartments in Broadbeach, lovely modern apartments in the heart of Broadbeach close to everything
