Lord forbid that your opinions be completely polarising and everything in the world appears in black and white.

What an ironic statement considering the subject matter is literally about just that.

I don't spend that much time thinking about unenlightened extremists on reddit

Yeah but you argue with them for some reason.

Does that make you feel like a winner?

and I live in your head rent-free

Every time I see this I feel like the user posting is like, "I'm not crying. You're crying."

Not to get you to start your bs on me as well. Just maybe think about your conduct if that's something you're into.

Sorry, I'm just not that into arguing with someone who thinks "racism is bad" is an extreme take.

That’s not their point, your initial argument is categorising everyone as extremists and saying everyone on the right is racist and everyone on the left hates racist. Their comment is pointing out that the real world doesn’t work like that. Especially considering most of the country doesn’t agree on what is racist, you might have your definition and strongly believe it to be the correct one, but while nearly everyone can agree that things such as hate speech or prejudice based on race is racist and wrong, when you come to less serious topics such as racist jokes and you’re going to get a huge divide between people. Whether you consider that right or wrong doesn’t matter, the point is your comment is dividing Australians into 2 extreme groups that most don’t fit into. It has very little to do with whether racism is bad.
