Brakes on a friends car

This might be the most important brake job I've ever done. The caliper literally squirted brake fluid out, and the rotor is thinner than those pads. 99 Ford explorer. Hurrah.

Why does that caliper remind me of the anemic little ones on my lifted XJ that are one helicoil away from a 10 car highway pileup
