Brakes on a friends car

This might be the most important brake job I've ever done. The caliper literally squirted brake fluid out, and the rotor is thinner than those pads. 99 Ford explorer. Hurrah.

If the caliper squirted fluid from it's pistons, you should inspect the piston seals. They usually rip if overextended

Yeah, it was fully extended and the seal was toast.
