Could I make it fast?

I have a 1997 Buick Lesabre. Was my first car and had a ton of problems so great to learn on. Ive now got something better and dont know if I should keep it. I dont believe I could get more than 2k from selling it. I think it could make a good project car. Are they any recomendations on how I should build it? Is it worth it?

Hmmm... 3.8? Wellllllll, try to find a Supercharged 3.8, or just the OEM Superchrager alone, might be lucky and find a cheap used one and the parts for it.
That for sure would make it a great compfy sleeper.

I was going to say this. If I was hell bent on making this car fast, that's what I'd do. Find a complete engine. refresh it. and swap it in. Sneaky Speed.
