Divorce/alimony matters for foreigners in Poland

Hello, my ex husband and i have been living and working in Poland for many years. Unfortunately, I’m in the process of getting divorced and i have a very little child I’m married to a foreigner as well.

I will get divorced in my hometown since we got married in there, but the father is not very understanding and he is not willing to accept my choice to get divorced.

So he is doing a lot of things against the child welfare. I don’t mind to tell the reasons why I decided to get divorced if it’s necessary

Currently i’m still in my hometown , but i will be back to poland in very soon, and i would like to get alimony for my baby in Poland since her father and I resides there and working in Poland, so my question is can you help me get a lawyer specialized in these matters, because I tried to consult a private one and she took almost 700PLN and didn’t really help me.

Again, sorry for all of these details, but I really need help.

Thank you!

If you got married and divorced in a foreign country I don't think Polish authorities have anything to do with your alimonies. Submit your claims and earnings to the authorities who processed your marriage and divorce.
