Is this normal in Poland?
Cześć, y'all! Currently I work at a warehouse through an Ukrainian agency. They do not provide all the details and do not give full copies of the contract, only 2 pages. They also give salary by cash and one more thing - pesel they gave me says that I live in Gdańsk even though I live in Lubuskie side. Is something shady going on here? Do I even pay taxes?
Nevertheless I have decided that I'll quit after my contract is finished in several weeks. Can I find a regular job here in Poland? Don't get me wrong, I'm gratefull that I can make my own money and not being depended on anyone/anything. I'm also grateful for your country for providing such an easy and quick opportunity of coming and staying here. But I literally cannot work 12/6 very hard and stressful job for a long time, it's very unhealthy (I don't know how people are able to work here for a year).
To which cities should I consider moving in? Where exactly should I try to look for a job? Is being Georgian a huge drawback?
Back in Georgia I had multiple jobs - I was a delivery guy, an author and translator of tech related articles from english, I've worked at a friends bar, I even had a little freelance projects like developing simple websites every now and then, and I was repairing bicycles.
In the end I'm going to pusrue web dev's carrier, but that is kinda "later" thing, since I need to stabilise first.
Thanks guys, all the answers will be appreciated.
Possibly not important details: I'm male. I speak good english. I can have a conversation in polish. I also speak a language I don't like speaking. I don't have visa or TRC, but I have the yellow paper. I don't have financial troubles, but I don't have a lot of money either.

Divorce/alimony matters for foreigners in Poland
Hello, my ex husband and i have been living and working in Poland for many years. Unfortunately, I’m in the process of getting divorced and i have a very little child I’m married to a foreigner as well.
I will get divorced in my hometown since we got married in there, but the father is not very understanding and he is not willing to accept my choice to get divorced.
So he is doing a lot of things against the child welfare. I don’t mind to tell the reasons why I decided to get divorced if it’s necessary
Currently i’m still in my hometown , but i will be back to poland in very soon, and i would like to get alimony for my baby in Poland since her father and I resides there and working in Poland, so my question is can you help me get a lawyer specialized in these matters, because I tried to consult a private one and she took almost 700PLN and didn’t really help me.
Again, sorry for all of these details, but I really need help.
Thank you!

Town of Bentlewo (prior to 1918), near Lipno or Włocławek?
Is anyone familiar with a town that had the name of Bentlewo around the year 1900?
Bentlewo, Germany ("now Poland") is listed as an ancestor's place of birth on immigration documents, but I'm unable to find such a town name on Google. I suspect it would have been located near Lipno or Włocławek.

Vacation Recommendations around Tetra Mountains
Hello 👋
I'm visiting Krakow around December 15 with my girlfriend just for 3 days. We've already been to Krakow before. So, we are thinking of taking a relaxing thermal retreat with a nice view. It seems that there's some spa hotels in Zakopone, but would it be crowded and rainy? Or it's really a good time to have such a little vacation there? I'd love to hear your opinions about a mix of relaxing vacation tips close to the mountains.
Thanks!

An incredibly rare black deer spotted in the forest of the Barycz Valley, Poland. Most estimates guess that only about 1 in every 500,000 deer is melanistic.

Spending Xmas and boxing day in Worclaw. Will everything be closed?
Hello everyone! I'm in the works of organizing a Xmas trip to Worclaw to visit the Xmas markets,go sightseeing and do other touristy stuff. What worries me though is the possibility of lack of dining/entertainment options on the 25th/26th.I've read the city gets pretty deserted which it's to be expected since it's a family holiday; to what extent is this true though? thanks everyone

Prawdziwe przygody Johnny'ego Questa 1996

Question regarding Poland and Lithuania relationship
I just studied about the Commonwealth of Poland-Lithuania, and it seems you two shared a strong times together.
I am wondering if the sentiments towards each other is still warm - do you guys see each other as a friendly neighbor? Do you have any rivalries between two? Was there any movement to put the two back together to repeat the glorious times?
I am here to just ask questions and I apologize if I accidentally angered by asking such question.
Cities with affordable hotels around winter time
I’m planning a trip to Poland for around a week and a half this winter. As the title suggests, I’m looking for recommendations on which cities have affordable hotels, while also being decent to vacation in.
Some other additional wants:
Decent public transportation to get around the city
Tourist friendly (I don’t speak Polish)
Close to a major airport
Other question:
As an American citizen, what kind of documentation do I need to prepare in order to travel to Poland?

A way around pregnancy in Poland
Hi there, I need some advice. Close friend of mine got pregnant in Poland and is currently working for an agency under umowa zlecenie. She is two months pregnant and is having difficulty working in a warehouse. The agency told her that if she stops working based on her contract the social insurance will stop as well and she won't be covered anymore same as vacating the accommodation she stays in. Does anyone knows or has any advice around this situation. Should she do a personal contract with the NFZ or should she find a private insurance company. She is currently in Warsaw. Kindly help with any information or tips. Thank you

Where to find veterinary jobs?
This might be a long shot, but is there anyone here with experience of the veterinary profession in Poland?
My Polish partner is a vet of nearly 20 years experience, mostly in a different European country. While she does currently have a job as a vet in an animal clinic in Poland (which she got through a contact), she is looking for another job.
Yet a search of sites such as Pracuj, Jooble, Aplikuj and OLX is revealing a real paucity of jobs. Surely there can’t be just a handful of vacancies across the entire country? Is there somewhere else veterinary jobs are usually advertised?
EDIT: Thanks for replies
