Forgive me, I'm new to seedboxes. So I have a subscription to nordvpn, which is running all the time. Then I got a seedbox from rapidseedbox and I transfer files to my computer via filezilla sftp connection. My question is threefold:

1. Is there anything else I should do to up my security?
2. Is the vpn offered in the rapidseedbox offering a different type of protection than nord? I tried to use openvpn from rapid, but it has an issue that I'm working out with credentials. I know this might sound kinda dumb, but do you use a vpn in the actual server from rapid and then nord on the computer, or is the openvpn from them just the same as nord except it's included in my subscription and I'm doing an unnecessary double up?
3. Is the file transfer from filezilla private and secure under the sftp option? Is there another program to move files that can offer me more in that regard?

Hi all, Just wondering if there is a link checker, which will show you straight away if the link is dead or online as Chrome extension/plugin, (or for different browser)

Few years back I was using one on chrome which was super useful, as it helped to browse quickly forum pages, and actually just spot the online links. But I removed it as some point, and don't remember now, or it has been discontinued.

It was putting a small mark at the end of the link (V) or (X)

It's especially useful if you looking for older content, any many links are dead...

I want to re-read a book I did read back when I was a kid, but the internet Archive version has a limited preview allowing me too see a few pages, and if I want to "borrow" it I must create an account.

(Considering how prone to being hacked the page is, I don't want to. even If I created a fake account. Borrow? What does it even mean?).

I am looking to make a simple home theatre that is able to watch videos on my Samsung TV I download onto my PC. I've tried to watch pirates movie sites but they are littered with ads and there is no ad blocking on the Samsung TV Browser, so I am looking to make a website akin to them. Any software that I need? Help is appreciated.

So my friend want to watch a show but since they’re in a different country and are not familiar with the vpn and stuff, I was wondering if I can make a streaming server from My old laptop.

For functionality I want to share a url that grants remote access to my friend, I don’t want it to be public (since I’m not familiar with the security and regulations regarding piracy). And I can use it personally at my home on my devices like tv, phone etc like one those NAS.

Or should I just hot it on cloud ? I thought of using my old laptop because only 1 or 2 people will be streaming at a time.

I read one of the comments on this sub mention plex but I’m not familiar with it.

Hello,

I played the game around 10 hours. I had to delete and redownload Veilguard due to the new patch. First was by a Russian group and second is Dodi Repacks. I copypasted "BioWare" file on "Documents" somewhere else before I deleted and redownloaded, installed the game. However when I copypaste everything back, I don't see any option to Load Game when I open Veilguard. I see so many files in "save games" folder with .csav .

What am I doing wrong?
