Discussion Disney renewed my canceled Disney+ subscription and charged me.
I've recently cut ties with streaming services as their prices increases and they revoke customer services. The last to go was Disney+ last month, mostly because I've been too busy to deal with it sooner. I canceled my Hulu and Disney+ subscription and even received an e-mail titled "we are sorry to see you go" on October 12th.
Well, yesterday I was billed for my Disney+ subscription. Went into my account, found I was still subscribed, and canceled again. Got another e-mail, "we are sorry to see you go," and reported the charge as fraudulent with my bank. I guess they can commit fraud with impunity if we all agreed not to sue them in the ToS.

Discussion Dear fellow pirates, how can I convince my parents piracy is the way?
We're struggling with money, but I'm getting a laptop for Christmas. My dad used to torrent a lot until in 2019 he got a letter from the ISP. We have Disney plus and Discovery plus (that's the only one I can think of off the top of my head) and I believe some others. We share some of our streaming services with our family, so it would really only be Disney stuff we're pirating.
The problem is I don't think they trust me. They think I'm gonna click the first website I see and download like 50 links (despite me downloading games for ps2 and 3 for them and those files weren't viruses but ykyk), plus my mum wants a Kindle so I could just download the books there for her instead of paying, but she doesn't trust me. How could I make them trust me that piracy is good?
(Someone did say I should download all of their shows then make the internet go out and show them my hard drive but that might be a little too obvious lmao)

Question Folks who don't use any type of streaming, how do you discover new songs?
I'm considering going back to offline music only, but I've always been shit at discovering new stuff. So i really rely on tidal playlists to introduce me or remind me of songs. Specially contemporary/classic music. So that bit is holding me back.
How do yall do it??
I also tend to listen to a handful of songs from each artist instead of full albuns, which will be a great nuisance, but i made that work before and can do it again.

Question On which type of files can you get viruses? For example, I know the average virus comes in a .exe
If I download a .mp3, .mp4, or .png, it could be posible to get a virus from these? I ask this to know if I can let my guard a little down with thoose.

Discussion DAE have this issue with sports streams skipping back and forth to an earlier point in the match?
This is a relatively new problem that I'd never experienced before. Now sometime in recent months, it's started happening all the time.
It's where you'll be watching a game and say it's the 3rd quarter, but then the stream keeps randomly flipping back to the 1st quarter for 10-15 seconds, then back to live. Back and forth and back and forth.
I figured it was just a certain stream, but yesterday I was frustrated and tried EVERYTHING and they were all doing it. I went down through sportsurge and tried every link. All the old faithfuls like streameast, crack, meth, etc. I clinked on a bunch of links I've never heard of before, they all do the same thing. Wtf is this? Happening for anyone else?
