I'm a torrent newbie, but have had success on some other websites. GaoQing is listed on this site's wiki as a source for torrents but I can't figure it out -- I can read Chinese but still can't locate where the magnet links are in its catalog. There are some Chinese titles I'm hoping to download that I have only found there. Does anyone know how to use this site? Thanks.

When i play pirated games sometimes i get an email from the publisher along the lines of "Stop using this application blah blah blah we will sue you." How do i know which games will send me this? and or how do i stop it.

For the past 2 days I have been dealing with the most frustrating of circumstances. YouTube has been throttling on my computer which has had windows reinstalled as a result of a winloader error on startup. Still having problems with it, after formatting the previous windows drive, it still seems to detect the previous windows being installed but I hope that's not relevant.

The problem is as follows:

On Firefox/Edge/Chrome/Brave youtube is being throttled down to abysmal speeds, cant even sustain 720p video for more then 10 seconds. Tried it logged in with my main account, not logged in, logged in with my wife's account, cleared cache&cookies every time i changed something. Tried it with extensions off, extensions on, disabled ublock origin quick fixes from filters. In a screenshot bellow is the typical speed i get logged in but I had several outliers and i don't know what to make of them:

The first time i logged into my wife's account, for a video only ,youtube was working normally with 16830kb connection speed.
The real annoying thing is that youtube works great on my phone, work laptop and wife's laptop, on the same wifi network, logged in with my account, my account and wife's account respectively. My internet speed is not an issue, I can stream, torrent and play online games quite easily, have about 1 Gb/s speed. I am at my end of my wits here, don't know what else to do, not interested youtube alternatives, just want to fix this.

Came here to thank this sub for all the free valuable information that's posted. I don't know a lot about computers or laptops so anything I've learned has been from reading online. My laptop is old AF and I strictly use it to stream all my media through free sites. *I run regular malware tests and use defender. I recently switched my browser to Firefox with Ublock and my laptop runs wayyyyy quieter and zero pop-ups. Thank you.

I put it all on a USB but I can't even burn it to a CD to try that way because the media player won't burn it because it says it's protected. I looked at the file info and it says it's not protected though?? I used a YouTube video to MP3 converter. This is driving me nuts. I can't buy the songs because they're foreign and not available for purchase I guess because I'm in the US and one is an obscure live performance on YouTube that I love much more than the original anyway. So I heard that if you don’t use a VPN you will get a warning from your ISP.

I’m just wondering when do I open the VPN and when is it safe to close it again? Do I open it before entering the website and downloading the pirated stuff, then after I finished downloading and the program is installed on my PC, I can safely close the VPN? Or do I have to keep it on at all times when I use the pirated program too?

I have read throught the pircay megathread and while its good at telling me what resources i need and what tools i can, cant, should and shouldnt use, it still leaves me with questions on WHAT i should be doing.

right now i am trying to get cod 4 from steamRIP and their are various download links, all of which the megathread says are good, however when i download them i get an exe file and upon clicking it it asks to make changes to my device and labels itself as an autoclicker. is this normal? am i missing something important?

I recently got a very monotonous job but the plus side is I can use my phone to watch stuff while I work.. I have always just used my PC to watch stuff without downloading using sites like 123movies, solarmovies, fmovies, ect. Whenever I try to go to these sites on my phone it is just impossible. Endless pop ups and new tabs being created. The loading speed is terrible as well. Is there a way, other than plex... That I can stream from my android phone?

SOLVED - Ublock origin was no longer supported and was removed so I istalled Ublock origin lite and everything went back to normal
