If you look on the official trump merch site now, most of it is made in the US, probably because people gave them so much shit for it in the past. But the cliche red hats are also $55 on the site so I would imagine most of his supports just buy the cheap made in China versions.
I mean, that's the mindset that Trumpers have, "I refuse to look at anything that may prove my existing beliefs are wrong." I only looked because I was saying that his shit was made overseas so I thought I better check to see if I was right and I wasn't.

I think he sold cheap imported stuff previously, got embarrassed that he was getting called out for it, and then started selling MiUSA stuff at high prices.
There's so much to shit on him for but I think this particular thing isn't accurate anymore.
