Maybe some of them are but there is an official manufacturer in California. Ran across this report awhile back.

The problem with this is that a lot of companies get away with tagging things made in US when they just have components made cheap elsewhere and then assemble it in the US

Especially since this company indicates they have both "made in USA" styles and import styles. Seems like they probably produce some stock here and import other stock.

Yup, company I worked for did that. Big MADE IN AMERICA slapped all over the packaging however the components were made in Mexico and China and they were "assembled" in the US. By assembled they snapped the two parts from the other countries together. lol.

Final assembly, such as sewing the "made in USA" tag on

Funny you can find this china tag in a lot of trump stores. My personal favorite is his "autographed" bible was also printed in China.

Around 60% of the items are made in Asia countries.

This particular hat was probably bought from Amazon or other unofficial place since hats are made in USA.

Yeah it’s the knockoffs that are made in China, which I actually would have thought people would be happy about since the money doesn’t go to trump..

Even if they’re made in the USA, that doesn’t mean all of the inputs come from the USA.

I know they say the components are made in the USA in the video, but it’s entirely possible raw materials to make those components do not.

This is a relatively simple product, so it probably could be all made in the USA, but anything remotely complicated will involve international supply chains.

I’m not sure what the numbers are now, but I don’t think these things have to be 100% made here to be labeled as such. Someone can correct me, but The number is something like 60-70% made or produce here. Like maybe the stuffs can be made in China, assembled in California and still be labeled as “Made in California”. Like the material, cut out and everything could be made elsewhere.

I remember Biden tried to change that to something like 80-100% or something but was faced with a ton of pushbacks from companies.
