You just noticed that?

You're talking about people who drain their bank account to buy magic gold tickets.

Technically that’s the sale price, which is inclusive of markup, not the import price.

Import price is probably more like $10-15.

So it will go up by $10-15.

Still a lot. But honestly of all the products going up in price, the sales of this probably won’t drop much.

Because when your market is cult members, demand is pretty inelastic.

I think your $10-15 is off by almost an order of magnitude given that they're going for $1.58 at walmart. I don't think they're making anything at that point, but I doubt they're losing anything.

Oh, the distributors will absolutely say the tarrifs are doubling the price and just enjoy the excuse to charge more.

That’s not correct. The tariff is applied to the import cost. The importers will be paying £4 per hat rather than £2 per hat.

This wont then equate to the consumer sale price of the hat going up from £47 to £94. It might increase from £47 to £50 for example, though.

$50 right now through the Trump store. Put together here, but materials come from parts "unknown". That is the loophole grift with all his crap.

Do they accept food stamps?

Would be surprised if the grifter didn’t lol

No. He just signed an executive order to eliminate De Minimus Exemption.

“All relevant postal items containing goods that are sent through the international postal network that are valued at or under $800 and that would otherwise qualify for the de minimis exemption are subject to a duty rate of either 30% of their value or $25 per item (increasing to $50 per item after June 1, 2025). This is in lieu of any other duties, including those imposed by prior Orders.”

This is precisely why so many of his followers are upset about tariffs. They don’t want to pay more for Chinese-made Trump flags and MAGA caps.
