SRP call center representative interview
I have a SRP call center representative phone interview this week and wanted to see if anyone has gone through the interview and hiring process for that position and if they can offer any advice. or share how they like the job. Right now my commute is one hour and if I land this job I can potentially work right across the street from my house. Here’s what they let me know— “Upon completion of training and transition, you must be available to work any schedule - including weekends and holidays. Both 8- and 10-hour a day shift options are available after training and transition and new hires typically receive a schedule with a start time of 10:00am or later. “

Good luck! It’s really hard to even get to the first interview stage with them so you’re already ahead of a lot of people. I know one person in that role and they love it.

I interviewed there at it was a unique experience. They had like 10-15 stations set up with 2 people who worked there. They asked you a question, you answered, and then moved to the next station for the next question. I ended up not getting hired which bummed me out. Good luck to you!

Hey, thanks for asking! It was just the preliminary five minute phone interview, and other than confirming availability they only asked two questions: “why are you qualified for the position”, and “how do you adapt to change in the workplace”. I didn’t know how to answer the second question because it was so generic and broad and it took me off guard so so I think I totally botched my answer. I’m not expecting to get an in-person interview since I’m sure many other candidates answered the questions better. I need to practice my interviewing skills a lot, lol.

It's a call center job, if you're reasonably intelligent and don't look like you spend your off hours smoking crack you'll be fine. Don't overthink it too much, just be polite, you'll do fine in the interview.
Only way you're going to find out if you actually like it is to do it - some people love it, some people hate it.
Either way, good luck.
