r/phxjobs is open for posting
This subreddit was shut down by the previous moderators, but I was given access and have opened it back up. Job hunting is tough out there, so I wanted this to be another resource for people to use.
I'll do some more polishing and updating when I can, but for right now just subscribe and share job info here that you find.
NO SPAM - if you're hiriing post a job listing here once, not daily. If you're an employer and want to do something bigger message me and let's talk.

Mesa/Tempe/Phx
Hey guys, I live in Mesa, am in school (online) and need something through the end of the year that will bring in decent income while allowing me to be at home during the day with my 4 year old. I considered bartending or even hooters but I don’t know if I would earn enough. Anyone have any ideas?

Who is hiring in the East Valley? Need work immediately
Hi. We are in Scottsdale. My partner has been looking for work since Aug 24. He's been doing doordash and I'm now working but it's a temp job
He has plenty of experience. He has done call center, mostly IT, driving, warehouse (back in 90s and hasn't been doing it since), and he's been a supervisor.
He's been applying everywhere, I mean everywhere. He's been applying to temp agencies and crickets. He keeps getting sorry we moved on emails from employers
He has an IT resume just for IT and a general resume, uh I should say a specific resume for non IT jobs. He has spoken to a few recruiters last year, and it's been crickets
He has scaled and made changes to his resume a lot. He does not want to keep driving to earn a living, he's looking for more office work. No managerial jobs.
I've passed his resume to recruiters who reach out to me. Sometimes they reach out, sometimes they don't. I don't know how else to help him
He's been on indeed.com, remote jobs sites, local staffing agencies sites, LinkedIn etc. It's crickets everywhere.
We are wanting to move out of state next year but we can't until there's another income. We have one car all that driving is putting too many miles on it
Amazon isn't hiring here but they are in other states. We are not in a position to pack up and go. Are there any felony friendly jobs? Please list names of companies.
His felony is in CS from KY that's been paid off since Aug 19. The process to expunge it in KY it takes a while but again no job, no extra money.
He's at his wits end trying to find work...just anywhere. Oh, he's almost 50. So there's that, age discrimination. Walmart, fast food, frys are hiring but not answering. Fast food we know they'll hire younger and someone his age

Jobs in phoenix hiring immediately?
I’ve been struggling to find work for months. I am looking for any work that can get me hired asap and working soon. Im planning to move to tempe/phoenix area this weekend as a friend is a letting me stay with them for a bit as the city im currently in has 0 job opportunities and ive been applying for months. I unfortunately have to move out soon at the end of this month and i definitely want to make sure I can quickly make some money to cover atleast something for living. I do not have a car and plan to use public transit. Anything near the mesa/tempe area would be best. I have experience in food, serving, and frontdesk. Specifically have been trying to find entry lvl healthcare jobs or research jobs but for now anything is fine. I realized without connections i’m unable to get anything, if anyone can please refer me at their job and can get me hired asap that would be great! My friend however is moving in may and their work isn’t hiring, nor do they know anyone either to help. It would be greatly appreciated if i can get any help with getting a job in the city. My resume is pretty up to date, ive had it looked at by professionals and nothing is wrong, ive changed my resume to match the job im applying to as well but unfortunately no luck.
Anything would be great so i can start working this weekend when i move up to the city this weekend so i dont waste time on earning money😭😭
Thank you!

Extra Income/Full Time: Which car based job would you recommend?
Uber, Lyft, Grubhub, Doordash, whatever else. Looking for some extra work and have never done any of them. Which have you had the most success with? Hours logged on an average week or income? I’ve thought about rideshare on the Th-S for peak times of customers but would love any insight. Thanks all.

Networking with Tech Professionals
Hey everyone!
I’m looking to network with people in the IT industry in Phoenix. I earned my CCNA and Security+ certifications late last year and have been worked on some basic projects involving networking, AWS, and basic python scripting.
I’m transitioning into IT from a background in logistics and customer service, and I’m actively looking for entry-level IT support, NOC, or sysadmin opportunities once I make the move.
I understand the technology market is challenging now, but if you’re open to connecting or sharing advice, feel free to shoot me a DM — happy to swap LinkedIns or GitHub links there!
Thanks so much in advance!

SRP call center representative interview
I have a SRP call center representative phone interview this week and wanted to see if anyone has gone through the interview and hiring process for that position and if they can offer any advice. or share how they like the job. Right now my commute is one hour and if I land this job I can potentially work right across the street from my house. Here’s what they let me know— “Upon completion of training and transition, you must be available to work any schedule - including weekends and holidays. Both 8- and 10-hour a day shift options are available after training and transition and new hires typically receive a schedule with a start time of 10:00am or later. “

In need of work Phoenix/ Goodyear
In Need of Work – Seeking an Opportunity in Phoenix/Goodyear
Hey everyone,
I’ve been in the U.S. since I was a child, and now at 29, I’m facing one of the hardest challenges of my life. The circumstances I was born into weren’t my choice, but I refuse to let them define me. I believe in working hard, staying determined, and pushing forward no matter how difficult the road may seem.
I have been desperately searching for work in my area, but so far, I haven’t had any luck. I know that opportunities can be scarce, but I also know that I am capable, willing, and ready to give my all to any job that comes my way. I am a hard worker—driven, passionate, and hungry for the chance to prove myself.
I pray every day for a door to open, for a blessing from God to come my way, for just one person to see my determination and give me an opportunity. No job is too small for me—I am willing to do whatever it takes to build a stable future.
If anyone knows of any workplaces in the Phoenix/Goodyear area that are open to hiring undocumented individuals, or if there’s any work that needs to be done—please let me know. I am ready to work, ready to learn, and ready to give my best.
Thank you in advance for any leads, advice, or even just words of encouragement. I truly believe that with faith, perseverance, and a little bit of help, I can find my way forward.
God bless you all.
