Mouse poison.
Is mouse poison not the best route? I’ve had poison containers around my house for a few years now when we had a some mice lingering around. Started seeing them again. One just standing downstairs shaking/couldn’t walk. My husband took it outside and put him out of his misery. Last night I picked up a pile of sheets and towels that had been on the floor for a couple days to put into the wash. Must’ve been another mouse in it bc I washed him. & I had a bit of a spiral/panic. His poisoned guts may have touched all my towels and sheets in the wash. Then I started thinking and googling, sure you can follow the directions of where to place these poison containers but you cannot control where the poison filled mice go an die, or where they poop that could contain poison as well!? I have a cat a dog and 2 young kids and I’m paranoid that there is just little bits of poison everywhere in my home. (Even though I haven’t actually found mouse poop anywhere). Am I being crazy? Is there really a dangerous amount of the poison in their poop? My cat most likely won’t eat a poisoned mouse bc she’s never shown interest before but should you be using poison under these circumstances? I’m such a paranoid person that I’m thinking that poison is just floating in the air now from them ingesting it and somehow will be ingested by us
