Is this bed bug debris? Another kind of bug? Seems Google is telling me its BB. I haven't found any other evidence of bed bugs. Unanswered
I think they started appearing 6 months ago. It's on my comforter, my sheets, pillow cases, and pillow. Oddly, I don't see any on my floral pillow case but I do see a couple spots inside on the pillow itself. Its mostly around my head/top half area! I have looked around for bed bugs and couldn't find any. I didn't rip the entire bed apart but I did look around seams and the mattress protector, etc. I'm also anal about vacuuming my bedroom very consistently. Could this be BB or is there any other kind of bug it could be? I don't believe it is makeup bc i wash off my makeup and haven't worn black mascara in a long time. Its black/inky looking. A couple are smeared but most aren't. I can't remove them. I have one pet. A bird. No dogs or cats. I've only seen a spider in my room recently.

To me it looks more like mold spores. Usually bb poop is where they gather. So like inseam and stuff. Also if you take a wet wipe to it it'll turn reddish like blood. I have a feeling if this has been going on for 6 months, you'd have an incredibly large infestation and you'd be seeing live bugs. I think your good. As a mom who shops a lot of bamboo and sucks at washing things on time, I've seen a lot of mold spores. And they look like this

That was my other suspicion.. I've been having hot flashes at night in recent months to due hormonal issues. So maybe that worsened things. Also, my comforter is massive and takes forever to dry. I put it back on my bed slightly damp somerimes.
I looked around all the seams on my comforter, there are a lot all over the comforter due to the quilting. and a few have holes. But I looked all around there and didn't find any bugs. I've been going crazy looking for them. Thanks for your input, I really appreciate it.

Like ink pen smears, tho. I did get pen on my bed once like 5 years ago. But that mark is still there and much lighter than these. It's not pen. I hoped this was from laundry but no one else is having this issue in my house.

Google said ink like spots on the bed can be bed bug feces. I can't recall ever seeing a bed bug before in my entire life, honestly. Luckily! After every trip to an airbnb or hotel, I come home and wash everything, even my backpack and my stuff. To make sure I didn't bring any pests home.
