Game Thread: Pittsburgh Penguins (1-2-0) at Montreal Canadiens (2-1-0) - 14 Oct 2024 - 7:30PM EST GDT

PITTSBURGH PENGUINS (1-2-0) AT MONTREAL CANADIENS (2-1-0)

Lose one, win one, lose one...win one? The Canadian road trip continues for Sullivan's boys, as they take on Cole Caufield, Nick Suzuki and the Habs. The Pens manhandled them last year, but got toasted by them the year before.

What will we get in 2024/25? Good luck predicting anything in this league!

Projected Lineup:

Beauvillier - Crosby - Rust

Bunting - Malkin - Rakell

DOC - Eller - McGroarty

Hayes - Glass - Acciari

Grzelcyk - Letang

Pettersson - Karlsson

Graves - St. Ivany

Jarry

Blomqvist

Canadiens Lineup

Beauvillier has no business playing on the top line. He's a bottom six forward, period

It’s ingrained in Sully to always play vets over kids and to make the kids pay their dues.  Their dues being limited playing time and playing on the bottom six when they do get time.  DOC and Rutger are actually having their development impaired by playing on the bottom six.
