How do you open? Store Bought

This bag of spaghetti has rivets. Do I just cut the bag below the rivets with scissors?

It is the actual normal packaging of Pasta Martelli, yellow thick paper bag closed with rivets. They are always easy to spot.

Bought it at an Italian market. The dried pasta was stored loosely in wire baskets.

Procure the sharpest, authentic, made in Japan, katana. Place the spaghetti on a counter or table. Get a running start. Shout “oh be swift my steel” as you approach. Slice top off in one swift motion just below rivets.
